Yesterday we had an amazing session, we worked independently and did what was right for our own bodies...

"Do what you can, its your session"... one of my students repeated. (Didn't actually realise how often I say that in my classes, but it is true)..

I had a couple of students who have been doing my classes for 3 years (can't believe it's that long Chance to Dance Stars CIC ), I had a couple of students who have only ever done my classes 2-3 times, then a couple of students who watched from the side lines (I didn't think they were paying attention), and then before my eyes, one of them joined in and the other jumped on my back (whilst I was doing cat/cow).

At the end of the session, we did some mindful activity sheets, the students worked both independently and together, which is so lovely to see!

Well done to my amazing yogis over the past 3 years! You have all come a really long way!!!

Chance to Dance Stars CIC are taking bookings for our Sunday sessions from January to March 2025. We are back on the 5th January and close for the term on Sunday 23rd March 2025.

What am amazing day!!! I'm so happy with how this workshop went today!!

We did some 'empathy partner yoga'! This empathy continued for the rest of the day!!

Today, marks a great day!!! I did my first ever yoga workshop! (With Chance to Dance Stars CIC )

Thank you to the amazing participants. I had 5 in total.

We started by doing some breathing exercises, then we spoke about how we were feeling (zones of regulation).

Then we did some partner yoga- lots of laughter and trust activities.

Then we went for a mindful walk, to collect some natural resources! (Just before the rain).

We then came back to do some more Halloween/Autumn yoga.

We finished with some different breathing exercises, finishing with a body scan!!!

Spaces are still available for our Yoga Workshop.

We will be doing a mixture of yoga and meditation practices during the workshop.
Yoga and meditation reduce anxiety, improves focus, develops their flexibility, boosts self esteem, encourages self-regulation, improves self confidence, makes them body aware, and a lot more.
During the workshop we will do yoga, partner yoga, meditation, mindful games and some breath work.
