What’s weighing you down?
Just stop for a moment and bring your awareness to the extra weight you’re carrying around. I don’t mean physical weight!
I mean the negative past experiences, self doubt and limiting beliefs that are causing your energy, confidence and mindset to be dragged down.
We all have these thoughts and beliefs, we’re human after all.
Here’s a challenge for you…
How about, just for today, you put these heavy, weighty negatives down.
Just for today, you take back the control.
Just for today, acknowledge them instead of ignoring them and then leave them behind as you walk out your front door.
That’s it… mentally pick them up off your shoulders, tell them they’re not coming with you today and then put them down. In a box, on a shelf, in a cupboard or even in the bin!!
Breathe in deeply through your nose… exhale slowly and feel your shoulders relax… they feel lighter now.
Now smile 😊 tell yourself, it’s going to be a great day and off you go.
If after today you felt worse for not carrying them around then the choice is yours, pick them back up and start carrying them again.
If you felt even 1% lighter, cleaner, happier… then repeat this again tomorrow.
If your pile of heavy negatives is quite big then it may be time to start working on them with a trained therapist. Over time you can address each one, process it in a safe place and feel clearer and happier, each and every day.
