🦋 If your toddler is loving our classes and beginning to grow in confidence — or you’ve been thinking about joining — and you’re able to (financially or with your schedule), continuing or starting with us is a wonderful choice… here’s why 💚
When little ones start to feel confident in a class environment like ours, it can be tempting to try something new. However, moving them too soon can take them away from a space where they feel safe and secure — and may mean starting that confidence-building journey all over again.
To us, 6 weeks might feel repetitive… but to a toddler, 6 weeks is a long time. They don’t experience time the way we do. While it may seem like “the same thing,” what’s really happening is practice, familiarity, and the development of essential hidden skills — all of which take time.
Even just two activities per class can support a huge range of development — often in ways we don’t immediately see as adults!
✨ Did you know…
👀 Hand-eye coordination is a key skill for independence?
Every time your toddler taps sticks together, they’re strengthening this ability — helping them with everyday tasks as they grow.
👏 They’re also learning to follow instructions, understand direction, and respond to rhythm and tempo.
👌 Fine motor activities help strengthen the small muscles in hands and fingers — which are essential for writing later on.
🏃♀️ Physical development matters too! At around age two, things like walking steadily, jumping, and balance are important milestones that build the foundation for skills like hopping and skipping.
👚 Activities like using tweezers don’t just seem fun — they build the strength needed for real-life skills like doing up buttons and getting dressed independently.
✍️ Even simple mark-making is incredibly important — it’s the very beginning of writing and drawing.
💙 Our classes are thoughtfully designed to balance repetition (which builds confidence and skill) with fun, creativity, and freedom — giving your toddler the best environment to learn, grow, and thrive.
