The whole community came together on Sunday for Remembrance Sunday on School Green Day n Shinfield. We raised o er £140 which has now been donated to the Legion.

A beautiful bride Francesca and her new hubby who got married only yesterday, donated her gorgeous flowers to our home as she is going on honeymoon and didn’t want them to just wither away. We had fun with residents making up displays for our living room.

Just ahead of Remembrance Day we had an unusual visit from a British FV101 Scorpion light tank (part of the CVR(T) family).
It’s a small, fast, tracked armored reconnaissance vehicle — often used for training, private ownership, and events these days.
Residents and neighbours in the community were surprised and thrilled when it pulled up outside PG.
Thank you Ollie for taking the time to bring the tank.
