๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒป A key focus this Autism Acceptance Month is Embracing Inclusion at Work! ๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒป

Workplaces thrive when they are inclusive, understanding, and accessible to everyone. This , letโ€™s commit to creating environments where autistic employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

โœจ Ways to foster inclusion:
โœ… Encourage open conversations about neurodiversity
โœ… Provide sensory-friendly workspaces
โœ… Offer flexible work arrangements
โœ… Recognise and celebrate unique strengths

Letโ€™s make every workplace a space where everyone belongs!

The Purple Tuesday logo and tagline "Accessibility Everyday, Everywhere for Everyone" appear in the bottom right, promoting workplace inclusion.

Many people still see mobility as black and white. But the reality for many is that it can vary, day to day, moment to moment. ๐Ÿ’œโ™ฟ

Image Description: An illustration of a wheelchair as a figure is shown to be walking away from it. Text above and below the image states "Mobility can vary, don't judge another by your own preconceptions"

When we think of disability, we often picture visible conditions, but 80% of disabilities are not outwardly apparent. ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ’œ

From chronic pain, to mental health conditions and neurodivergence, many disabilities are invisible making it often harder to get the right help and assistance when barriers are encountered. Making the importance of symbols like the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower as a widely recognised symbol for invisible disabilities.

Alt text: A graphic on a purple background featuring the text "80% of disabled people have hidden impairments." The design includes a variety of light purple stick figures, some using mobility aids such as wheelchairs, canes, or crutches, and others appearing without aids. In the center, three figures in yellow represent individuals with visible disabilities, such as using a wheelchair, a white cane, or crutches. The surrounding stick figures illustrate a mix of visible and hidden disabilities.
