Ché Bond is an inspiring and vibrant woman from South Africa with a profound love for the ocean and a deep-seated penchant for adventure. From an early age, she felt an intrinsic connection to nature, discovering that the soothing presence of water provided her with immense healing and inner tranquility. In the year 2000, Ché found her way to yoga during a period of uncertainty and search for purpose in her life. Initially, her yoga practice was centered on physical movement, offering her a sense of calm and equilibrium. However, as her journey progressed, she realized that yoga was much more than just poses; it became a powerful inward journey, allowing her to explore her mind and return to her true self. After welcoming her second daughter in 2013, Ché experienced a transformative realization—that her true calling was to share the beauty and depth of yoga with others. This epiphany led her to begin her training as a yoga teacher at a Buddhist center in London. Since then, Ché has dedicated her career to guiding others in finding their passion, gaining clarity, and seeking deeper meaning through the practices of yoga and meditation. Now based in Berkshire, UK, Ché teaches weekly classes in person and online, Evening & Day Retreats in Knowl Hill and Retreats abroad for adults from all backgrounds who are looking to discover and reclaim their inner power. Her sessions are filled not only with practical yoga techniques but also with rich philosophical insights that encourage students to embark on their own inward journey to uncover their truths. Understanding Duality & Non-Duality in Yoga

In yoga philosophy, duality (dvaita) is the world we experience every day — a world of opposites:

effort ↔ ease

light ↔ dark

expansion ↔ contraction

self ↔ other

body ↔ mind

Duality is the realm where we strive, compare, achieve, resist, and navigate contrast. It’s not “bad” — it’s simply how the human experience expresses itself.

Non-duality (advaita) is the deeper truth beneath all of this. It’s the understanding that:

Effort contains ease.

Light emerges from darkness.

You are not separate from the world around you.

The opposites are two expressions of one unified energy.

In non-duality, we realise we can hold both. We move, breathe, rest and grow from a place of inner wholeness rather than striving.

Yoga is the bridge between these two states — it honours the contrast while guiding us back to the oneness underneath it all.

Your gut isn’t just about digestion — it’s your inner ecosystem, your intuitive centre, your second brain. When you nourish it with colourful plants, fibre-rich foods, fermented goodness and mindful meals… you’re also nourishing your mood, your energy, and your sense of balance.

Think of every meal as a moment of self-love.

🌱 Simple ways to love your gut:
– Add more plant diversity to your plate
– Prioritise whole, colourful foods

To make this delicious frittata that serves 4. Roast 1 x courgette, cut into chunks, 1 x leek, sliced and one large red pepper chopped into big chunks with a drizzle of extra virgin avocado oil, salt and pepper on 180 for 20 mins. Then line a 20cm square dish with wax paper. Whisk up 10 x large eggs till fluffy and pour into tray, sprinkle the roasted vegetables into the egg and bake for 30 mins. Serve with bitter greens, sauerkraut, kimchi or Greek yogurt. Yum 😋 enjoy!
