Hi All
I am looking for a cook for a lovely care home in Wokingham…4 shifts one week and two shifts the following week, working hours are 7-3 (alternative weekend shifts included )
It would suit someone who may have been a cook in a school of even better, if they have been cooking for elderly people in a day center or a care home
Should be able to cook for upto 25 people and also bake some cakes

Concept Care Practice is a successful nursing and Social Care agency, providing temporary and permanent recruitment solutions to all sectors of the care industry.
Due to expansion, we are currently recruiting Care Assistants to look after vulnerable people within sheltered housing schemes in Reading. Though you will be required to lone work with clients, you will have the support of a Duty Manager and other team members on site. There is a choice of Early and Late shifts, these are a minimum of 5 hours. If you would enjoy working in Domiciliary care but do not want the hassle of short calls and travelling, this might be the job for you.

Requirements:

Previous experience in providing personal care
Experience of working in a Care Home or in Domiciliary Care setting
Medication administration experience desired but not essential
The ability to work shifts

We are currently looking for some practical help and support for a lady in Woodley. The current support package is Mondays to Sundays 2 hours in the mornings, 9am-11am. We are ideally looking for Sundays then another 1-2 mornings to job share with a current part-time worker.
The tasks are easy to follow and will involve some light housework, occasional food shopping , making breakfast and feeding the cat. You will be paid on a two weekly basis. Pay rate is £9ph for weekdays and £10.50ph for weekends, plus 20p per mile petrol. Ideally you will have some experience in Social Care, looking after vulnerable people and will demonstrate a caring, professional and empathetic attitude. Are you an experienced Support Worker with a good understanding of Autism? Are you passionate about looking after vulnerable people? If so, we have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you.
Our client is a young gentleman with Autism, living with his parents in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Main duties will include going out in the community and do various activities with him which will provide respite to the parents. This is potentially a job share ( 9.30am-4.30pm, 2-3 days per week) and is an ongoing support package for the foreseeable future. We are looking for someone who can build lasting relationship and trust with both the gentleman himself as well as the parents and is fully committed to the role.

Requirements:
Experience in Autism
Good communication skills
The ability to work 1:1
Reliable and committed

We are currently looking for a part-time Kitchen Assistant for a lovely elderly residential home in Reading, Berkshire.
This is a weekend position, working from 11am to 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Main duties include supporting the Cook to prepare lunches and dinners for the residents; keeping the kitchen tidy and clean and take charge of the kitchen at dinner times, serving the evening meals.
You will have previous experience of working in the field of catering and demonstrate an empathetic and caring attitude towards elderly people.
