The Grange Care Home The Grange is the larger of the two residential homes that Goring Care Homes offers.

The Grange is a family run independent care home in Goring, Reading, providing excellent 24-hour residential care in a warm and friendly environment with just 30 rooms, as well as caring for those living with dementia Situated on the riverbank of the Thames, The Grange is a forty-two bed care home for the active elderly in Goring-on-Thames, South Oxfordshire. The house is set in over ten acres of beautiful landscape gardens with lovely meadows extending down to peaceful walks and the River Thames. It is an elegent listed former manor house having originally been built around 1880.

🎄 Christmas Cheer at Our Home! 🎶

This morning, children from St Andrew's, Berkshire visited our residents to sing beautiful Christmas carols. Their joyful voices truly brightened everyone’s day!

Our residents were also delighted to receive the handmade Christmas cards the children created with such care and creativity.

A big thank you to the wonderful students and staff of St Andrews School for spreading so much festive cheer. ❤️✨

We’re excited to announce that our Christmas Hamper Raffle is now officially open!

Our beautifully packed luxury hamper is filled with festive treats and goodies — the perfect prize to kickstart the holiday season. All proceeds will go directly towards enhancing activities and wellbeing programmes for our residents.

We’re delighted to share that on Wednesday 3rd at 11am, the team from Goring Fire Station will be visiting us with their fire engine!

They’ll be giving a short fire safety talk, answering questions, and offering a chance to take a closer look around the fire truck 🚒✨

Families are warmly invited to join us—and are welcome to stay afterwards for coffee and a sweet treat ☕🍰

This week, our residents had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful poppy display in the village. It’s such a touching and thoughtful tribute — a real credit to everyone involved in bringing it to life.
