Dealing with illness can bring a whirlwind of emotions. It can leave you feeling uncertain, vulnerable, or even isolated.

Over the past year, I’ve had the honour of volunteering at a local hospice, and the experience has truly been life-changing. Walking alongside individuals and families during such a vulnerable time has taught me more about the strength of the human spirit than I ever could have imagined.

For anyone who is struggling with illness or supporting a loved one, know that you are not alone. There are people who care deeply, and sometimes, all it takes is reaching out for support.
