The Athena Network - Reading and Henley

The Athena Network is THE # 1 referral network for business women. They will have access to a network of high calibre connections.

If you are a business lady and would like to grow personally & professionally - visit one of our monthly meetings - make quality connections/build relationships KNOW LIKE TRUST! The Athena Network Reading and Henley has six thriving and energetic groups across the region. The meetings are held on the:

East - 1st Wednesday of the month
Virtual - 2nd Tuesday
North - 2nd Wednesday
Central - 2nd Thursday
Henley - 3rd Tuesday
South - 4th Thursday
Cappuccino Connections - 4th Tuesday

We are currently networking online and all of our monthly formal meetings start at 12noon and finish at 2pm. The Cappuccino Connections meeting is our informal/drop in meeting and that starts at 10.30am until 12noon. The professions that we are inviting visitors to attend and experience an Athena Network meeting within the Reading and Henley region are:

A warm welcome to Catherine (Cat) Morgan- partner and solicitor, who is sharing 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬 - 𝐀𝐬 𝐚 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐰 for our business development training at Reading East today.

In her training, you’ll gain top tips for separated or separating parents – from Cat’s perspective as a family law
solicitor for 16 years and also her 5 years of being a separated and amicable co-parent
herself. What do you or your friends or business contacts need to know?

Cat provides insight into this framework and pitfalls to avoid when navigating the world of separated
parenting.

Catherine Morgan (“Cat”) is a Partner and solicitor at RWK Goodman specialising in Family Law. She works from their Oxford office primarily, advising clients in the Thames Valley and England and Wales. Her advice includes: financial remedies on divorce, private law children’s arrangements, cohabitation matters and nuptial agreements. The overall family team comprises of 70 people over the firms different offices and RWK Goodman advises client in a wide range of all legal matters in their different teams, being a firm 700 strong,
their offices ranging from London , Oxford , Swindon, Bath and Bristol.

She will be sharing key learnings from her decluttering and organising experience, focusing on how to overcome common decluttering barriers and prevent clutter building up again.

Having a decluttered environment can help to create mental clarity, improve focus and free up time and energy to work on what truly matters.

Following a career in HR, Vickie founded Declutteright in 2022 and become a Professional Declutterer & Organiser. She has worked in over 50 different homes and workspaces and completed over 300 client sessions with people in many different situations. I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!

A warm welcome to Sarah Morgan-Giles, Body Work & Somatic Therapist, is sharing Business Development Training on Thursday at Reading Central Group.

Sarah is exploring with us ‘The Practical Application of Tools for Nervous System Regulation’.

In this session, she will share:
- a brief overview of the workings of the nervous system
- a day in the life of a self-employed businesswoman as she negotiates the ups and downs using practical application of tools for NS regulation
- A more detailed look at the exercises she used
