They compared impact of real-life vegan, vegetarian, fish-eating and meat-eating diets.

On

1) green house gas emissions,
2) land use,
3) water use,
4) water pollution (eutrophication) and
5) biodiversity

Vegan diets have less than half the impact of high-meat-eater diets for all outcomes.
