Some of you have asked me why I use certain ingredients in my smoothie, and why I am so conscious about the skincare I use.

One of my smothie's ingredients is flax seeds.

Flax seeds are full of something called “phyto estrogens.” These are important for both men and women.

Our body contains estrogen receptors that need to be filled.

Unfortunately, when we don’t have the right amount of phyto estrogens (made worse with menopause as estrogen levels drop), our receptors will be filled with xeno estrogens from plastics and toxic chemical filled body lotions etc (see left image).

An overload of xeno estrogens can cause the following for women:

- weight gain particularly around the bum and thigh area
- problematic periods
- increased depression
- increased risk of breast cancer

For men:
- man b***s
- smaller muscles
- larger bellies

Reducing your exposure and stripping away the excess xeno estrogens with a gentle cleanse (ask me about my 7 day cleanse), whilst also topping up your phyto estrogens (ingredients such as flaxseeds), is one of the best ways to restore the balance in our bodies and our minds.

Using natural extracts that are scientifically proofed to work is another best way.

How well do you know your feet...?

I've been very interested ever since I had to rest for a few weeks after too much impact for too long, and discovering that I have fallen arches.

I decided that I want to keep a spring on my step (and some mild bouncing) until my 90's and feet became a main focus in any movement that I do -or simply standing up.

How my feet position and activation translates to my knees, hips, core, shoulders, neck...

Fascinating.

Do you need help in moving better for longer?

I notice the marks of my shoes after walking in the sunshine😀!

We are getting towards end of February.

I'm not a fan of New Year's resolutions, although they do help assess what can we do better in life, to get better results.

I recently read that 'without health, we have nothing'.

It made me think.

Some have health and still have nothing...
meaningful.

That was me.

Now I contribute, not only to my health, but the health of my loved ones and those that I am privileged to inspire. Inside out. Body & Mind. As a yoga teacher, I add the Soul.
