Honouring Remembrance Sunday 2025

Today, we were proud to attend the Remembrance Sunday services across Redcar, Marske, and Guisborough, joining our communities in remembering all who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.

Each year, Roseberry Funeral Service is honoured to take part in these important commemorations. This year, Joshua represented us at the Redcar service, while Michelle was carrying out her official duties as Poppy Appeal Organiser, including reading out the wreaths list during the ceremony.

We are grateful to everyone who came together across our towns to honour those who gave so much. We will remember them. ❤️

Supporting Proportionate and Practical Funeral Regulation

This week, Parliament debated the regulation and inspection of funeral services across the UK. We were encouraged to see Simon H***e MP acknowledge the valuable contribution of independent funeral directors and the important work that SAIF continues to do on behalf of our profession.

As proud members of SAIF, we fully support their call for fair, proportionate, and practical regulation — focused on protecting bereaved families, ensuring high standards of care, and safeguarding the future of small, family-run funeral businesses like ours.

Roseberry Funeral Service will continue to uphold the professionalism, compassion, and integrity that define independent funeral directors across the country.
