🎄 Six sleeps to go, Redditch… and the big Christmas switch-on is nearly here! ✨

We’re so close now. Just six more sleeps until the 2025 Redditch Christmas Lights Switch-On takes over the town centre and brings the festive magic right into Market Place.

This year is shaping up to be a brilliant one. We’ve got fantastic local performers, Christmas entertainment, Father Christmas flying in from the North Pole… and the one and only Gareth Gates joining us to help press the big button and light up the town for the season.

At five o’clock the entertainment starts and it’s non-stop right through to eight. Music, atmosphere, Christmas spirit everywhere you look and that huge moment when the lights come on and Redditch officially kicks off Christmas.

We wanted to shine a light on the brilliant work happening at Archers Restaurant at Heart of Worcestershire College this term. The hospitality students have already delivered themed evenings, tasting menus and some excellent three-course lunches and the standard is getting better every week.

Archers opens its doors to the public each week so the students can gain real experience in a professional setting:

📅 Wednesday & Thursday Lunchtimes – £12.95 (3 Courses & Coffee)

📅 Thursday Evenings – À la Carte £19.00 / Themed Events £21.00

🎄 Their Christmas lunches and dinners start Wednesday 26th November.
