🌸 Happy International Women’s Day, Redditch! 🌸

Today we celebrate the incredible women who help make our town the place it is.

Across Redditch you will find women running businesses, supporting customers, leading teams, volunteering in the community and making a difference every single day. From our shops and cafés to offices, venues and community groups, their contribution to our town is huge.

Redditch is proud to be home to so many inspiring, hardworking and passionate women who help our town centre and community thrive.

Today is a moment to recognise and celebrate them.

The town was full of energy as two fantastic events brought people into the centre and created a real buzz.

Echo Base Live Unmasked, organised byEcho Base LIVE, saw an incredible gathering of Star Wars fans with amazing costumes, characters and displays that were truly out of this world. It was great to see so many people enjoying the event and taking part.

At the same time, 24/7 Fitness hosted an open day at their gym, welcoming visitors in to find out more about their facilities while Vida Nutrition were also there showcasing their supplements and speaking with people about fitness and recovery.

It is always great to see businesses and event organisers bringing activities like this into Redditch. Moments like these help create atmosphere in the town centre and give people even more reasons to visit.

Well done to everyone involved in making it such a great day for Redditch. 🙌

The Redditch Motor Show 2026 is rolling back into town on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May and it’s bigger than ever.

From classic favourites and modern showstoppers to motorbikes, trucks and impressive steam engines, the town centre will be packed with incredible vehicles across the full weekend.

Add in the kid’s fun fair, food and craft stalls, the Dino Bus Experience and live atmosphere throughout the day and you’ve got a proper town centre takeover.

Car, bike, truck or steam engine, now is your chance to showcase it in the heart of Redditch.

Last week, Redditch BID worked alongside The Loft Hair and Beauty to carry out a litter pick at the back of businesses on Alcester Street.

In a short amount of time, three full bags of litter were collected, helping to keep the area clean and well maintained.

This work supports and complements the ongoing efforts of Redditch Borough Council, who do an excellent job caring for the town centre. We are pleased to contribute and assist wherever we can.

If you are a business within the Business Improvement District and would like to get involved in a future litter pick, please message us for further details.
