Did you know that missed GP appointments not only delay your own care but also affect others who need medical attention? Every appointment count, and when you miss one, it puts extra pressure on our hardworking healthcare team and can make it harder for others to get the care they need.

If you’re unable to attend your appointment, please cancel or reschedule as soon as possible. It only takes a quick call or a few clicks online, but it can make a huge difference for someone else waiting for care.

💉 COVID-19 Autumn Boosters – Stay Protected This Season 💉

Who is eligible from 1 October 2025:

Adults aged 75 years and over

Residents in care homes for older adults

Individuals with Immunosuppressed system, aged 6 months and over

New Total Triage System 🆕

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Total Triage System at St Stephens Medical Partnership. The GPs have been reviewing our process for booking appointments. Our aim is to enhance your experience and ensure you receive the right care, at the right time, with the right clinician.

From Monday 8th September 2025, a GP will be triaging all requests for appointments, including those for same day. You will still be able to book nurse appointments via our reception team

💉 Get Your Free Flu Jab – Stay Healthy This Season! 💉

The best way to protect yourself from flu is to get your free flu jab at your GP surgery. Your GP will send you a link to book your appointment.

Eligibility:

From 1 September 2025: Pregnant women, children aged 2–3 years, children in Reception–Year 11, and children in risk groups.

From October 2025: Adults aged 65+, adults in risk groups, carers, close contacts of immunocompromised people, and frontline social care staff.

A stroke can happen to anyone, at any age, and acting quickly can save lives. ⏱️

🧠 Know the signs – Act FAST:

Face: Drooping on one side

Arms: Weakness or inability to lift

Speech: Slurred or confusing

If you notice any of these, call 999 immediately. Other signs may include sudden vision changes, dizziness, loss of balance, or a severe headache.

🌿 Reduce your risk:

Keep your blood pressure in check

Stay active and eat healthily

Avoid smoking and limit alcohol

Get irregular heartbeats checked
