Children’s Grief Awareness Week 💛 This week is all about raising awareness of the experiences of bereaved children and young people and showing them they are not alone. The theme for 2025 is “Sharing Stories, Strengthening Hope” – encouraging everyone to share stories of loss and resilience, and to remind children that while grief is hard, hope and healing are possible.

At Primrose Hospice, we understand how important it is for children and young people to have a safe space to express their feelings and build resilience. That’s why our Children and Young People’s Support team offers a range of support groups:
✅ ChYPS Group – for children aged 12 and under
✅ Teen Group – for ages 13+
✅ Explorations – forest school-based sessions during holidays
✅ Mindful Minecraft – exploring emotions through play
✅ Aagh Anger – positive ways to express anger
✅ Paws and Reflect – learning self-care through animal care activities

These groups provide opportunities to share experiences, create memories, and develop coping strategies in a supportive environment.
