We would like to share with our community that we now have a banner regarding the Bereavement Cafe that is held at church on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. The banner was designed and donated by a very special family, and we are extremely grateful for their kindness and generosity. May God bless you all.

• Why we kiss under the mistletoe
• Bible reflections on love

Add in homemade refreshments, family activities, poetry by local schoolchildren, and the chance to buy a snowdrop to take home, and you have a truly special day out.

🔔 Bell Ringing Visit to St Laurence, Alvechurch 🔔

This Saturday (31st January), at St Laurence Church, Alvechurch, from 11:30am–12:30pm as part of a special outing for the anniversary of the Birmingham University Bell Ringing Society 🎉

Based in Edgbaston, Birmingham University Bell Ringing Society society is marking this milestone with a day of ringing at some lovely towers, and we’re delighted to have the opportunity to ring at St Laurence.

If you’re nearby, you may hear them showcasing some ringing during that time — do come and say hello!

During December there will be a Memorial Tree in the church yard. All are invited to come and hang a bauble in memory of a loved one. You can bring your own bauble or please take one from the church porch.
