Our MD Martin Graves has just finished day 1 of 3 giving evidence to the Sheku Bayoh Public Inquiry.

He has just completed an in depth review of the training being provided to police in Scotland back in 2015 when this tragic incident took place.

Over the course of three days, we had the incredible opportunity to deliver our Skills for Justice accredited Behavioural Detection Officer course to the latest cohort of G4S staff at the O2 Arena London, led by one of our Directors Andy Moore.



We're eagerly anticipating the prospect of further collaboration with G4S, and our time together was made truly beneficial by the unique opportunity for the staff to put their newly acquired skills into practice. The culmination of our training program coincided with a final exercise for our new learners deploying prior to a Take That concert.



A big thank you to everyone involved, especially our host Adriaan Brynard and David Chammas for their enthusiasm and commitment throughout this journey.

Exciting news from CARMS! We're thrilled to announce the successful completion of a 3-day Behavioural Detection Training course with ResponSec Ltd



Our team at CARMS facilitated this comprehensive training, providing participants with invaluable insights and practical skills in behavioural detection. It's been truly rewarding to witness the growth and enthusiasm of all attendees throughout the program.



We extend our sincere gratitude to ResponseSec for hosting the event at their HQ in Highams Park. Additionally, we appreciate the opportunity for practical exercises that took place at the London Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Park, London.

Securing the Frontlines: A Call for Action in Retail Safety



In the aftermath of recent shifts towards normality post-pandemic and mounting economic pressures, front-line retail staff find themselves at the epicentre of unprecedented challenges. This sector, more than any other, bears the brunt of evolving trends, from economic pressures to a surge in opportunistic and organised attacks.



Alarming figures reveal a 40% increase in incidents of shoplifting, abuse, violence, and anti-social behaviour reported by the Co-op this year compared to 2022. Even more concerning is the revelation that, in the majority of serious cases, the police have been unable to respond promptly, leaving front-line staff vulnerable and unprepared to face these escalating situations.



While increased training and the implementation of measures such as bodycams are steps in the right direction, a crucial gap persists. Our collaboration with SelectaDNA presents a proactive and effective solution to address this pressing issue.
