Great news for our Winyates Centre residents

🚨Improvements coming to Winyates Centre 🚨

This month and next, our contractor Hardyman & Co. Ltd will be carrying out work to improve the communal stair blocks that serve all the homes in the centre. This will include repairing the roofs, replacing the ceilings, and installing new windows in the stair blocks, so scaffolding will be in use.

It’s the latest part of the ongoing work by our Housing Property Services to maintain and improve the condition of over 5,000 council homes in the borough.

If you live in the centre, please refer to your letter from Hardyman & Co. Ltd with the details. As that letter says, to keep disruption as low as possible, only one stairwell will be closed at a time. The other two stairwells will stay open. Thank you for your patience while these important improvements are carried out!

Charity Act on Energy has partnered with Reach CIC to host a free and fun pancake day event, including a scavenger hunt and traditional races.
