Children’s Mental Health Week 2026!

If you’re a parent, it’s likely that your child’s school is participating in activities this week that highlights the importance of children’s mental health and what can be done to support them.

💫 Quality Time Together: Engaging in undistracted, meaningful activities strengthens connection and fosters a sense of belonging.

💫 Positive Affirmations: Regularly offering words of encouragement and validation helps build self-esteem.

💫 Consistent Routines: Predictable schedules create a sense of safety and stability, reducing anxiety.

💫 Physical Affection: Hugs, cuddles and gentle touch can be incredibly grounding and reassuring.

💫 Active Listening: Showing genuine interest in their thoughts and feelings makes them feel heard and valued.

💫 Model Healthy Coping Skills: Demonstrating how to manage stress, express feelings and problem-solve teaches by example.

New hair doo! 💇🏻‍♀️

Not reflexology related, but a huge shout out to my fabulous hair dresser for making my mop look soooooo fricking good 🙌🏻

The reason for this chop wasn’t just because I fancied a change…

I few months ago I was diagnosed with anaemia and my ferritin levels were worryingly low, so much so that my hair started shedding like crazy.

To improve the overall health and appearance of my locks, I had an honest chat with Gemma about my condition and we agreed on a style that would suit my face shape and bring some life back to the barnet.

Thankfully my GP got to the root cause of my iron deficiency which is a huge relief, and now I can start my healing journey.

How’s it going?!

The first week back after festive break can sometimes feel a little overwhelming.

The early mornings, back to the routine of life and clock watching 😩 When all we really want to be doing is hibernating - well, I do anyway ☺️

Take the internal pressure off, opt for a slower pace where you can and focus on these two things that I promise will make the biggest impact…
