They’ve supported us with doctor and hospital appointments, and nothing is too much trouble. Taking my dad out for walks along the Embankment in Bedford has also helped him stay active.”

Grateful to the Homecare Association for the opportunity to contribute to this month’s Homecare magazine.
I’ve shared our experience of integrating rehabilitation into everyday home care, shaped by my background in physiotherapy and what we continue to learn through practice.
One thing has become increasingly clear: effective rehabilitation relies on the foundation of consistent, high quality care embedded in the culture of Right at Home UK
When care and rehabilitation are delivered together- integrated into the daily routine, we’ve seen meaningful improvements in strength, confidence, and independence.

Don't miss Redhill Library's Wellbeing Fair and join us Tomorrow .. THIS THURSDAY,19 March! From 12noon until 6pm. There will be stall holders and workshops, all with focus on physical, mental and social wellbeing.
Workshops include fall prevention with us here at Right at Home Reigate, Crawley and Horsham, mindful bracelet making, inclusive communication through music and Makaton signing, as well as an introduction to meditation, and a Bollywood dance taster session.
The event is completely FREE!!!

“My sisters and I approached Right at Home for help with our parents, aged 96 and 87. We started with two hours a day but quickly increased this, including weekends, as we were so impressed with the care provided. We also trialled overnight care, which was excellent.

It was incredibly helpful to be able to adjust care and hours at short notice. The office team were always friendly, accommodating and quick to respond.

The carers who visited our parents’ home cannot be praised highly enough – completing household tasks to a high standard and often taking the initiative where they saw something needed doing. The companionship has been first class, and both of my parents have really enjoyed their daily chats.”
