It was great speaking with the visitors of Move It or Lose It with Helen in Merstham this morning for our preventing falls talk.

We discussed the importance of having a plan in place, the essential steps to follow should the event of a fall happen as well as keeping active and hydrated. The group also appreciated the advice on having regular medication review. All key parts in preventing a fall.

Thank you for this wonderful review! At Right at Home, we pride ourselves on promoting independence and improving quality of life for people with care requirements. Sometimes it just takes a little extra support so you can stay in your own home and continue living life as you want.

"We used Right at Home to help a close friend who had been diagnosed with Alzheimers and needed some home support. This was fairly light to start with but increased over time. The kind and professional support they were able to give meant that our friend was able to continue to live in her own property. The care was exceptional, with regular Carers and any changes handled sensitively. The support from the staff in the office was also excellent and they were always happy to adapt to our changing needs."

Another lovely session at our Forget Me Not Café 🌸 Woodhatch Community Centre

We enjoyed some gentle chair-based exercises followed by fun games of Bingo. So much laughter and smiles all round and prizes won. It was a joy to see everyone having such a great time. We are already looking forward to the next one!!

Do come along and join us for our next session, held first Thursday of each month - next one will be Thursday 5th February 2pm-4pm at Woodhatch Community Centre, Whitebeam Drive, RH2 7LS. No need to book, just come along and join in the fun.
