So my eldest has Autism and ADHD and likes to bake solo. I buy him kits so it’s easier for him. He’s taking things very literally tonight as asked if he really had to ‘mix by hand’ not really processing what he was asking I said yes and looked up to just stop him in time before he put his hands in the bowl. A conversation has now taken place about how it means to use a spoon but yes it’s not clear 😂🤦‍♀️🧁

Anyone else watch the Richard Tice press conference and feel their blood pressure rise? Don't often follow political news (it's all too depressing!) but having seen bits of this appear on my feed I felt the need to watch it and Luna and Bonnie are learning some colourful language as I react to nonsense that he's spouting! SEND provision does need a review but not in the direction that he's talking!

It’s World Prematurity Day today. There is a link between babies born premature and having speech delay so make sure you always tell your therapist if they were premature when you seek advice if you have concerns.
My youngest was born at 33 weeks and was a little slower to begin with but she caught up and now she’s 6 going on 16!

Someone has discovered a weak spot on the barrier. We may have a head popping through sessions today but a staple gun is on its way from Amazon to reinforce the barrier for tomorrows session 🤣

After seeing an advert for this over half term I booked to take my 2 up at the weekend. I was dubious we’d last an hour but my son is obsessed with maths and problem solving so thought we’d give it a go. I couldn’t have been more wrong I was dragging them out after over 2 hours to catch the train back home so we didn’t leave the dogs alone for too long.

If your little one likes numbers and problem solving I’d recommend giving here a visit. It doesn’t look much from the outside but once you get in and explore all the activities over the 2 floors it had something for everyone.

The brand new attraction has opened on London’s South Bank and it’s turning maths into an experience the whole family can enjoy

Schools are back and I'm back to normal timetable now. Bonnie, Luna and I are ready to get back to a normal routine again!

Just a heads up if you're unaware, there's road closures through Reigate town centre so you may need to find an alternative route if you come through that way to make your sessions at the moment.

Bonnie has come to join the family. She’s 13 months much smaller than Luna but holding her own with loony Luna and very gentle with the children. She’ll be at the gate wanting cuddles and fussing I’m sure.
