The programme helps reduce loneliness and encourages intergenerational friendships, with residents enjoying one-to-one conversations, stories, and companionship. 💛
A special bond has already formed between resident Patricia and her volunteer Annie, who quickly connected over shared interests and life experiences.
Lifestyle Coordinator Fena shared: “It’s been incredibly moving to see our residents light up during these calls. For many, it’s something they truly look forward to.”
Supporting wellbeing and cognitive stimulation, the initiative is making a real difference for both residents and volunteers - proving meaningful connections can thrive at any distance. ✨
