This month the residents and members of staff are preparing for a charity walk to raise money for Dementia. Big cheers to Terry and Garry ( and a few others) who diligently play their part for this worthy cause.

Happy New Year! 2026 it's here...May the new year bring good health, peace and joy in our hearts.
Thank you for all the staff here who makes every day special to our residents. Your dedication and resilience is recognised and appreciated. Thank you to the families and friends of the residents,who visited us during the year and showed us their support and gratitude. 🥂🎉

During the Christmas festive period, our lovely chef, Almira and the kitchen assistants worked tirelessly to produce delicious and nutritional meals for our residents and their families. On Christmas Day we had a traditional turkey roast meal and salmon en-croute and on Boxing Day, gammon in honey with cauliflower cheese and bubble and squeek and roast pine nut pie! Of course topped up with wine and mince pies!🥂🥧 Special thanks to the whole team who made Christmas time special and a happy experience for the residents and their families!👏🎉

We had a brilliant, eventful and busy week here at WCNH! The residents were busy making a gingerbread house, making Christmas decorations, and having a lot of fun at their special Christmas Party. We might not be able to change the world, but we can make a difference in trying and that's exactly what our team here at WCNH is doing. We have raised £115.85 for Alzheimer's Society through kind donations. Big thanks to those involved and for the ones who found it in their hearts to support this worthy cause. Thank you!🙏
