Council for Disabled Children are working on a national research programme about multi-sector services to disabled children with Newcastle and Exeter Universities. They have helped to develop a national survey about how health, education and social care services are provided for families of children with disability and what a high-quality service might look like. By answering the survey there is a further opportunity for you to be involved in the next stages of the research.
Why take part?
By sharing your experiences and views, you will help build a clearer picture of what NHS and other services families currently receive and what they need - helping NHS professionals, young people and parent carers.

🥳We are so excited to announce that we have spaces at our Monthly Teen Group again!

📅Our Monthly Teen Group takes place on monthly Sundays in Woking. This is a social interest group for girls aged 13-18 years and their parents and carers.

✅Our next Session is on the 8th March. Bookings will close 02/03//26

🕛Sessions run between 11am -1pm for the younger teens (13-15 year olds) and between 2-4 pm for the older Teens (15-18 year olds).

🧚🏽‍♀️This month our theme is "Myths and Legends" themed activities which will include:

🍳Cooking: Lembas Bread ( from Lord of the Rings fame)
🎨Crafts: We will be creating our own mythical creatures from clothes pegs and toilet rolls
👩🏽‍🎨Workshop: Drawing workshop on the theme of creating our own creatures
🗣️Chill and Chat: Myths and Legends

Row, row, row your boat all the way to our next Sensory Rhymetime on Saturday 07 March at 10.30am.

This fun, singing and signing session is for 0-6 year olds and is specifically tailored for SEND families. We are tucked away in a cosy enclosed space with low lighting, a bubble machine and sensory toys. A ‘quiet’ room is available. A maximum of 6 children plus their parent/carer.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is asking parents, early years settings and other caregivers to check their infant formula against specific batches of Aptamil and Cow & Gate products listed in the Product Recall Information Notice published on Friday 6 February 2026.

As you might have seen in media coverage and on social media, Danone’s recall has been issued due to potential cereulide contamination, which can cause illness including vomiting and stomach cramps. The issue only affects the batches listed in the recall notice, in addition to the product included in Danone’s earlier recall on 23 January 2026.

The FSA’s advice to parents and carers is that if they have any of the affected products, stop using them and switch to an alternative formula. If formula was prescribed, they should speak to a pharmacist or doctor before changing. If they have recently fed the formula to their baby and are concerned about symptoms, they should contact their GP or call NHS 111.
