If your weeks feel busy on the outside and heavy on the inside, this is for you.

Grow and Glow meets every Wednesday evening for women who want a place that feels human, not clinical, and not overwhelming.

There is structure.
There is space.
There is no expectation.

You can come once.
You can keep coming back.
Both are okay.

Free to attend. Women aged 18+.

We run groups in multiple locations.

January can bring a lot of different feelings 🫶🏻

For some women it feels hopeful.
For others it can feel heavy, overwhelming, or lonely.

Grow and Glow has been supporting women since May 2024, and we are now bringing this space to Wilmslow.

Our launch night is Wednesday 7th January, offering a supportive place to sit with other women and share as much or as little as you want.

📍 Wilmslow Fire Station
🕖 19:00 to 21:00
✨ Arrival from 18:45 for refreshments

From launch night, sessions will run weekly every Wednesday.

Its christmas eve! So with that id like to say...

Merry Christmas from Grow and Glow.
Christmas brings lots of joy and lots of sadness with thoes that are missing from these moments.
So remember to take care of your selves and take a moment for those that are gone.
Merry Christmas to all, what ever your day looks like, I hope you all have a good one!
Our groups are closed untill after the new year but remember we will be back and ready for you all. Maybe its your time to take the first step, maybe you are a regular. Who ever you are, we are here for you. Feel free to post a pic in the comments of a loved one or a loved one who has passed that you would like to take a moment for ❤️

✨ Facilitator Friday ✨

Today we are introducing Ami, one of our facilitators at our Woking Grow and Glow group. Ami brings kindness, care, and a genuine desire to support others, and we are so happy to have her as part of the team. 🫶🏻

Here is what she shared about her experience.

Hi, my name is Ami.

I joined Grow and Glow because I wanted something just for me. I have tried counselling before and it did not work out for me, so I was looking for something different. I have been through some difficult situations and realised I had never fully addressed them.

I love Grow and Glow because it is a welcoming place with women who do not judge. I feel comfortable sharing and being myself, which has meant so much to me.

I have always loved helping people and supporting others. Becoming a facilitator with Grow and Glow feels incredibly fulfilling and I am excited to help hold a space where other women feel supported and heard.

Today we are introducing Hannah, one of our facilitators at our Woking Grow and Glow group. Hannah brings deep understanding, compassion, and a strong desire to support others, and we are so pleased to have her as part of the team. 🫶🏻

Here is what she shared about her experience.

Hi, I am Hannah and I am a facilitator at our Woking group.

Mental health has been part of my life for a long time. Growing up, I saw close family members struggle with their mental health and addiction. At times I felt lost trying to support others, while putting my own mental health to one side. Everything reached a breaking point in 2021 when I had a nervous breakdown.

I was supported by amazing family and friends and, with the help of a therapist, I was able to rebuild and find my feet again. Since then, I have always wanted to give back, but I struggled to find the right place to turn that passion into action.

Through a chance meeting while running a professionals mental health group, I met Charley and learned about the safe space she had created with Grow and Glow. Her passion stood out straight away and I knew this was something special. I began attending the Guildford group and was deeply moved by being in a room with women who listen, uplift, and validate one another. The sense of connection shown to people who had only just met felt incredibly powerful and I knew this was a place where I belonged.

When Charley shared that Grow and Glow was opening in Woking, it felt meant to be. I offered my help and I am now part of the facilitator team. I am really looking forward to meeting the amazing women who will walk through our doors. 🫶🏻

Today we are introducing our lovely Julie, one of our Guildford facilitators.

Julie first joined Grow and Glow after being encouraged to attend by Blair at Men’s Pit Stop and Andy’s Man Club. From the moment she stepped into the circle she brought warmth, care, and kindness, and she is now an important part of our Guildford team. 🫶🏻

Here is what she shared about her experience.

Hi, I am Julie and I am one of the facilitators at our Guildford Grow and Glow group.

I first joined after being encouraged to attend by Blair at Men’s Pit Stop and Andy’s Man Club. I felt nervous walking in for the first time but I was met with warmth and understanding and I soon felt a sense of belonging.

I quickly came to love our weekly meets. I love thinking of others, whether it is turning up with little thoughtful gifts or being there with a shoulder to cry on when someone needs it. The support we share each week has meant so much to me.

I also wanted to help create a space where women can be heard and feel supported. When I was asked if I would like to become a facilitator I felt grateful for the chance to give something back to the group that helped me so much.

Grow and Glow has become a special part of my life and I am proud to help hold a space where women feel understood, valued, and supported. 🫶🏻

✨ Facilitator Friday ✨

Today we are introducing our lovely Izzy, one of our Guildford facilitators. Izzy brings so much strength, compassion, and understanding to our team, shaped by her own powerful experiences. She reached out because she wanted to help create the kind of support she needed during her own hardest moments, and we are so grateful to have her with us. 🫶🏻

Here is what she shared about her journey.

Hi, I am Izzy and I am a facilitator for Grow and Glow.

I struggled with my mental health from a really young age and hit rock bottom in 2022 when Anorexia took over and I nearly lost my life. I spent the next year and a half in hospital and daycare, slowly trying to rebuild. Recovery has not been easy or straightforward, but I have come a long way and I am now training to become a therapist which is something I never thought I would be able to say.

I know how it feels to be in such a dark place that giving up seems like the only option. I know what it is like to feel completely alone, like no one understands. But having come through that, I also know that things can get better.

There are still difficult days, but there is so much I get to experience now that I never thought I would again. I am currently working through my bucket list, because younger me never thought she would make it to 24 and that makes me feel really proud. 🫶🏻

I reached out to Charley because I wanted to be part of something that offered the support I wish I had during my hardest times, something that did not need a referral or involve long waiting lists. I feel grateful to now be supporting other women through their own experiences while continuing to grow myself.

📣ANNOUNCEMENT 📣
✨ Grow and Glow is coming to the North ✨

This feels huge for our community. Every Grow and Glow group so far has been in Surrey and today I am so proud to share that we are opening our first northern group in Wilmslow in Cheshire.

Our Wilmslow group will launch on Tuesday 7 January at Wilmslow Fire Station and I cannot wait to welcome the women of the North West into our circle.

A big thank you to Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service for allowing us to use their community room. Your support means so much and helps us create a space that feels welcoming and supportive for every woman who walks through the door.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Your support has helped Grow and Glow reach even more women and I am so excited for this next chapter.
