At CRC Care Ltd, we recognise the invaluable contributions of our international staff in delivering compassionate, high-quality homecare services. These policy changes present serious challenges for our sector, particularly around workforce shortages and the continuity of care for the people who rely on us every day💙 .
We understand the UK Government’s intention to strengthen oversight in care recruitment, but we believe these new restrictions risk deepening the existing staffing crisis in social care—at a time when demand for services continues to rise.
We are comitted to navigating these changes with integrity, supporting our current employees, and continuing to deliver the high standards of care our service users expect and deserve.
Finally, we would also like to thank the Scottish Government for recognising these challenges and speaking up on the vital role that migration plays in sustaining our economy and public services—especially in social care!
We welcome continued dialogue with fellow providers, policymakers, and stakeholders to shape a more sustainable and fair approach to workforce planning across the UK.
