During lockdown is the first time in years I have had roots like this and had never therefore noticed grey hairs. As I was gathering photo evidence of this momentous finding I then noticed ALL THOSE WRINKLES!!!! DOUBLE SHOCK!!!! I had genuinely never noticed them before. Honestly when I looked in the mirror and the endless work video calls it’s all I could see. I absolutely hated them! So for my 40th as a gift to me I had my first ever anti wrinkle treatment. I didn’t want the ‘done’ look I just wanted to unsee these! I can honestly say it was a game changer for me. I call it the ‘magic dust’ 😆 I don’t spend much money on my self particularly just my hair and now my 3 monthly treatment as it makes me feel good…. Boosts my confidence and stops me from unnecessarily obsessing over them 😊 I was so impressed I decided I wanted to train to be able to do this treatment which I was able to do as a pharmacist prescriber.

People frequently say to me they have fancied having Botox treatment but are too worried/wary/assume they can’t for a number of different reasons….medication they are taking, medical conditions, possible side effects. As a pharmacist one of my core skills is assessing medical history and medications and identifying any possible cautions and risks and explaining them to the patient. Ensuring the patient understands possible cautions so they can make an informed choice is an absolute priority to me and over and above everything making sure the treatment is clinically safe to carry out. All of these I cover in my first consultation with you and then you can decide if you would like to go ahead. I guess what I am really saying is do not worry!!
