Female TLC Community Care Assistant (x4 Vacancies)

Driving Licence & Own Transport Essential

📍 Locations: Llandudno • Colwyn Bay Abergele • Llanrwst
• Penmaenmawr
💷 Salary: £25,000 base for 37.5 hrs/week
increasing to £14/hr (Mon–Fri), £15/hr (Sat–Sun) following probation period.
🕒 Hours: Full-time & part-time – set rotas, alternate weekends off
🚗 Mileage: 45p per mile

Tender Loving Care Ltd is a family-run care company established in 2008, providing high-quality, person-centred care across Conwy County.

We’re recruiting four female Community Care Assistants due to specific service user needs.

A full UK driving licence and your own car are essential.

TLC holds an active sponsorship licence and can consider Skilled Worker sponsorship for eligible UK-based or overseas applicants.

The Role

Supporting people in their own homes with:

• Personal care & medication
• Meal preparation
• Companionship
• Light household tasks

Full training, induction, and ongoing support provided.

Pay & Benefits

• £25,000 base salary (37.5 hrs/week)
• Post-probation: £14/hr (Mon–Fri), £15/hr (Sat–Sun)
• 45p per mile + paid travel time
• Annual leave & pay rises with service
• Uniform, training & 24/7 on-call support
• Clear career progression to Senior Carer / Team Leader

Requirements

• Female applicants only (personal care needs)
• Full UK driving licence & vehicle
• Care experience

Many congratulations to Gary Roberts, we thank him for his service to TLC over the last 7 years and on achieving his weight loss success. 5 stone lighter, he appears in this photo with Olwen, receiving his certificate and award, he will also enjoy the benefit of an extra annual leave day along with a pay rise.

Our service users like his banter and high standard of care that 7 years’ experience provides.

Gary is a good role model, he came into the care industry towards the autumn of his career and we wish him the best in his healthier life and smaller uniform.

This is Rob receiving his 5 year service award from Kerry, our Training and Care Manager.

We would like to thank Rob for his dedication and commitment to his role, to the company and to the service users he cares for. He works as part of our biggest team and as an experienced, care worker, is trusted by those in his care and a good role model for newer employees and all his colleagues at TLC. We chatted about the work and how the time has flown by, we agreed that we would look forward to the next 5 years and how invaluable his personality is to all who work with him and those receiving his undivided attention during the calls he makes in the community. Meet Enfys, she came to work with us at TLC, 10 Years ago, her ability to care in a person focused way, is unique, she has built relationships in our community and become a senior member of one of our community teams. Her professional attitude to her work is tireless and she is happy to share her knowledge and experience with newer employees who say that it is humbling to see her chat and provide care and social support to those she visits as part of her daily routines.
One of our directors presents her with her certificate and long service broach along with TLC’s gratitude for her loyalty to our service users at our new Satellite office in Llandudno Junction.
