TWO SPACES HAVE BECOME AVAILABLE next Wed night Dec 10th Physio 42 for gentle candlelit Yoga and a Yoga Nidra Class.
Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice which translates as 'Yogic Sleep'. The practitioner enters a deep but conscious relaxation - in a place between wakefulness and sleep. It is guided from a reclined position and is said to boost energy, aid sleep, reduce cortisol levels and therefore reduce feelings of stress both in the body and mind - something which can help boost our immune system as the nights draw in and we head towards the shortest day. We will start this special session with 30 minutes of gentle mindful movement ,easing into tight muscles, aching joints.... gentling unfurling and releasing both mind and body - ending with a wonderful guided meditation....Yoga Nidra!
