We have been around for over ten years, Get Strong physiotherapy & osteopathy is in Kew near Kew Gardens and Kew Village. We offer physiotherapy, osteopathy, massage, yoga, Pilates and movement therapy. Your joints and muscles will feel better with the treatment techniques we use such as mobilisations and massage. We will teach you to move more and improve your strength, your movement is your strength.

The windmill exercise. I often teach it as a mobility exercise for the shoulder and upper back. It’s also good for hip hinges. It’s just a good all round exercise. Add a weight and it’s a good strength exercise.

HOW to get into the mid back stiffness. Use a stick, place on foot forward. Twist towards the front foot. Add a bit of force as you rotate. Setting up again to twist.

Wide leg position, leg lifts. Uuf it’s a tough one. Great for working on the hip flexors and quads. For some reason my left leg feels much heavier. It’s great feedback about how they feel. What feels easy what is less easy. Exercise is exactly about this, it’s not about perfection or doing something well. It is about finding a struggle and sticking with it for a while.

Our Story

We have been around for over ten years, Get Strong physiotherapy & osteopathy is a new clinic in Kew near Kew Gardens and Kew Village. We offer physiotherapy, osteopathy, yoga and exercise therapy. Your joints and muscles will feel better with the treatment techniques we use such as mobilisations and massage. We believe that your movement is your strength. The basis of our clinic was set up because we truly believe that the human body requires constant input of movement and strengthening and that’s what we are good at. We spot areas in your body that are not moving well but have great potential to move better. We strive to empower our patients to move better, not just for now but for years to come and teach them how to be stronger in their daily movements and activities. Get Strong physiotherapy & osteopathy also offers a 45 minute Get Strong Yoga class to help build your stregnth. It is based within St Luke's Chruch on The Avenue in Kew.
