GOODBYE DAD

The breath took me to my deepest grief

Connected me to a pure love we’d never been able to experience

and all the challenges we faced together in our relationship in this lifetime

As I breathed I felt the connection to life - the life he gave and the one I was still living

The breath has taken me to many generations of my ancestors since

And each time I’ve healed and understood more about myself

I’ve discovered what I inherited

I realise how much of my generational trauma I’ve held in my body

And each breathe helps me to release what I don’t want to carry - what was never mine to hold and that is in the cells of my body, my viscera, my bones, my fascia

And each breathe invites the next moment, the next breath that creates life

Join me to breathe together - to connect to your ancestors for deep healing and realisations

I’ll be guiding you through some gentle self massage to touch upon the visceral and fascial spaces in your body where you may hold these past experiences

We meet online 7th April 4pm on zoom

My daughter says to me ‘mum not everything is about Breathwork’ 😂

Whilst she has a valid point (it’s not going to solve many of the worlds problems) it IS the answer and key to a whole host of bodily functions and HOW we experience our lives 🙌

For example

The breath can help you with your skin - to improve its tone and texture and vibrancy due to the cleansing properties of breathing fully and deeply and to the effect this has on your hormones and nervous system 🫁

I have breathed with hundreds of people who experience an increase in their positive outlook, creativity and energy levels after regular breathwork practices- and you can too! ✨✨✨

When we are stuck in old ways of thinking about ourselves - whether this be lack of confidence, self belief, doubt etc we can use the breath to tap into our subconscious minds (and super conscious minds) where the 95% of our potential lies within - once we connect to this it becomes much easier to have new beliefs as we can see more clearly 👀

When we breathe using conscious connected breath (a breathwork practice that I often use with clients and groups) one of the most incredible experiences is to feel empowered to make new choices - this is often because we get to see our full potential and the clarity needed to get us there

By connecting the breath and focusing on the felt sense of the body we access deep wisdom (often from many lifetimes in our family line that we hold in our cells) which helps our bodies heal and become healthy

I hope you’ll join me for this experience of Breathwork which is included in Expansive AF (a four day retreat with coaching, dance, lessons and an incredible community of people)

You’ll find the link in my bio above

Reach out in the DM’s if you have questions

Much love and can’t wait to start the NEW YEAR sharing all of this with you 🩷

When someone dies we sit with the many textures and layers of grief

They are like the elements to me
The dense heavy feelings (EARTH)

The waves of BIG tears
WATER

The power of intense feelings that come from nowhere rushing to the surface -FIRE

The dizziness and other worldliness that blows us off centre - WIND

I believe there are more than 7 layers of grief and all of these layers can happen in the blink of an eye - the full spectrum in one breath

They are uncomfortable to say the least - it’s not only sadness it’s frustration, disbelief, anger, irritation, regret, denial, depression

And then there’s the guilt
The guilt of laughing
Of desiring and experiencing carnal pleasures
Of forgetting
The guilt of living and surviving
The guilt of joy and bliss
Of experiencing magic

I write this to acknowledge our human complexities

To witness all of this as an expression of LOVE

I am also aware of how little we have sacred ceremony in these days of loss

So for me dancing every day at 5 rhythms has been that sacred prayer I needed

Moving my body
Feeling my body
Expressing my feelings through movement
And dancing every day as a sacred practice to honour loved ones lost and my life

I’ve cried
I’ve laughed
I’ve felt joy and sadness
I’ve felt bliss
I’ve connected deeply with others
I’ve felt loved and held by strangers

And I’ve felt my heart beat to the rhythm of the earths heart beat
