Bank support worker needed in Barnsley to work with an older lady with a brain injury and mental health issues.

From a couple of hours per week to 20+ hours. The role requires flexibility as holiday and sickness cover is required as well as some hours each week supporting the client in the community. These hours may include some weekends.

Support work experience is essential preferably with mental health experience. A driving licence and use of a car is also essential to support the client in the community.

Competitive rates of pay £14 hour weekday - £16 hour weekend.

Support worker required in Stafford to work with a young man with an acquired brain injury. Must be able to drive and have use of a vehicle as community access/support needed.
10 hours per week to be worked as 4 hours weekend (pref Sunday), 6 hours weekday split into 2 x 3 hour shifts, one day and one evening. Days can be fixed if preferred.
Experience preferred but full training provided. Client likes going to the gym and is interested in all things aviation. He has a team of therapists and needs someone for companionship and to help him achieve his therapy goals. Competitive rates of pay with weekend enhancement. VML Care Provision is a bespoke care provider based in Derbyshire but can provide services through the Midlands, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cheshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Northamptonshire and Gloucestershire within 100 mile radius.

We specialise in brain injury provision. Our manager has worked within brain injury case management services since 2002. We work closely with case managers and solicitors to provide support workers for clients with TBI and ABI. We can also provide support services for people with learning difficulties, ASD diagnoses and mental health issues.

We are currently undergoing CQC registration and will then be able to support clients who are local authority and/or continuing healthcare funded.

In 2024 we will be offering supported living accommodation for 2/3 clients sharing a home. Support can be from a few hours per week to 24 hour support. In 2024 we will also be offering a dedicated staffed property for Independent Living Trials. If you would like to be kept updated about this or supported living options please let us know.
