Help!!
We are putting together rummage boxes for our resident's.
Therefore we are asking for donations of:

Old remote controls, Empty perfume bottles, Any pipes and similar bits, Hats, gloves and scarves, Different fabrics and small baby items.

Hi everyone,

We just want to keep everyone updated on Maple Leaf currently. We have a total of four boilers, we can run on just one if we need to so usually there is not a problem.

Unfortunately two boilers needed replacing and these are in the process of being installed, however following a visit from the contractors today, the other two boilers are not working. This means we currently have no heating or hot water.

As we speak we have engineers here trying to fix at least one boiler, this is still underway and we will try and keep you posted.

We have a number of heaters in the home, we have also got more heaters on the way in the event the heating does not get sorted tonight. We have cold water, but no hot, we will ensure the urn is full so staff can access hot water if they need it, we also have wipes available to clean residents. We have lots of spare blankets and quilts.

Please be assured we are doing everything we can to fix the problem.

Wednesday mornings at 10:30 we have our Coffee Mornings, which are light hearted and we support each other and enjoy coffee and cake and a catch up. Some weeks we have a guest from all different roles that joins us for a chat.
