We made our own nativity scene! Over the last couple of weeks our talented residents have been putting their painting skills to the test, the outcome is something to be proud of! It certainly looks fantastic all put together.

Our residents got into the Christmas spirit yesterday by making some Christmas cards, nothing like a bit of glitter and some festive songs to get us all smiling!

We invite all family and friends to join us for our Christmas Party.
Festive treats and drinks, Christmas raffle with lovely prizes, we will also have a couple of stalls selling beautiful Christmas decorations made by our very own, talented residents!

Starts at 12pm, buffet available! Please let us know if you would like to attend as we will need numbers for food.

Our residents and staff have been having a thing about what we are all grateful for, today we have made all those thoughts into beautiful leaves and created a tree of gratitude. As a result of this, we have had a lot of lovely and meaningful chats and a really positive outcome.

This afternoon the fabulous Claire came to visit Long Meadow, she sang songs from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s which the residents really enjoyed singing and dancing a long to.

We are absolutely delighted to share that Long Meadow Care Home has been rated GOOD across all five areas! 🎉

We are incredibly proud of this achievement. On behalf of myself and Emma, we want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to all our staff, our supportive families, and of course, our wonderful residents. This wouldn’t have been possible without each and every one of you. 💛

And now… it’s time to celebrate! 🎉🥂

This afternoon some of our residents took a trip to Wetherspoons for lunch, lots of chatter, laughter and of course a cheeky half! A perfect Friday afternoon.
