🧑🏻‍🦱 He requires support to attend swimming lessons 🏊‍♀️ and French 🇫🇷 lessons on a Tuesday and Thursday. Hours are from 08:30 - 17:30.

📣 Support workers required, It feels wonderful to make a difference to a person’s life, no matter how small. So why not think of joining the wonderful team supporting our client living in Northallerton with her daughter who has a learning disability.

📣We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients

🏡 in the clients home and in the community

💰 £10.88 - £15.70 per hour, plus mileage paid at 45ppm.

📆 Tuesdays and alternate Saturdays 10am - 6pm, plus extra cover for holidays and sickness

What will you be doing?
Previous experience is useful, but a “can-do” attitude is often all it takes. For the first few weeks you would be shadowing within the clients home and community. You will receive all the training necessary to give you the skills you need or update training if out of date including the Care Certificate which is transferable. You will then be able to provide one to one support, this could be taking the client out for a drive or walk

Who are we looking for?
You need to be calm and patient with an ability to think on your feet and remain professional in occasionally stressful situations – but above all, you need to be 100% committed to helping improve the quality of life of our client and her daughter.
If you have brought up children, or cared for an older relative, or done any form of community service or voluntary work, paid or unpaid, then it maybe that you have all the attributes we’re looking for.
A car driver is useful as the clients daughter loves going for a ride out , a clean criminal record
