This Christmas, we’re inviting our amazing community to help us spread joy to children spending the holidays at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. 💜

Instead of our usual Secret Santa, our team decided to donate presents to the hospital — and now, we’re opening it up to everyone!

🎄💜 Layola Care’s Elf Day for Alzheimer’s Awareness! 💜🎄

On Friday 28th November 2025, our Layola Care team will be swapping our uniforms for pointy ears, stripy tights, and lots of Christmas sparkle! 🧝‍♀️🧝‍♂️✨

We’re taking part in Elf Day to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s Society, supporting people and families living with dementia. It’s a cause close to our hearts, and we’d love your support! 💜

We’ll be sharing plenty of festive photos and elf antics on the day, so keep an eye out for our mischievous team spreading cheer for a wonderful cause! 🎅🎁

Location: BL Area (Bury)
Hours: 6 hours per week (with a view to increase as trust develops)

Layola Care are looking for a kind, reliable, and confident Female Support Worker to provide social companionship and community support to a female service user with complex needs.

This is a part-time role (6 hours per week), with the opportunity to increase hours as a trusting relationship develops.

About the Role

You will:
• Provide companionship and social interaction at home and out in the community
• Support the service user with trips, outings, and social activities
• Encourage structure, confidence, and independence
• Respond calmly and professionally to challenging behaviours
• Deliver compassionate, person-centred care

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Female, due to the personal nature of the support required
• Patient, confident, and understanding, especially when supporting complex needs
• Experienced in behavioural or complex care (preferred)
• A driver with access to a vehicle (preferred, for community activities)

Layola Care are seeking a skilled and compassionate Complex Care Assessor to join our professional team in Rochdale. This role is key in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for individuals with complex physical, behavioural, or mental health needs.

About the Role

You will:
• Complete comprehensive care assessments and reviews for new and existing clients
• Develop and update individualised care plans tailored to complex needs
• Liaise closely with families, health professionals, and care teams
• Support staff with guidance, training, and supervision where required
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and Layola Care policies
• Take part in the on-call rota on a shared basis

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Experienced in health or social care (e.g. Senior Carer, Nurse, Team Leader, or Care Coordinator background)
• Confident assessing complex needs and creating detailed care plans
• Organised, proactive, and excellent at communication
• Compassionate and committed to person-centred, high-quality care
• A driver with access to a vehicle (essential)

• Support emotional wellbeing and promote independence
• Respond calmly and professionally to challenging or unpredictable behaviours

🌙 Female Night Carer Needed – OL4 Area 🌙

We’re looking for a kind, reliable and experienced female carer to join our team supporting a lovely client living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in the OL4 (Oldham) area.

This is a night position providing one-to-one support in the client’s own home. The role involves personal care, monitoring through the night, and helping with comfort and safety.

🩺 Experience in oral suctioning and cough assist is preferred, but full training can be provided for the right person.

✨ What we’re looking for:
• Female carer (due to personal care needs)
• Experience with complex or high-dependency care (MND experience a bonus!)
• Caring, patient and reliable
• Confident or willing to learn new skills
