Pre-Ramadan Health Check-Up at Golden Mosque

As we prepare for the blessed month of Ramadan, it’s important to look after our health too 💜

Early checks can help spot potential issues and support a safer, healthier fast.

🩺 Free health checks include:
✔️ Blood Pressure
✔️ Blood Sugar & Cholesterol
✔️ Weight & BMI
✔️ Immunisations & Oral Health Advice

👥 Eligibility:
• Aged 25+
• Not under GP care for regular treatment
• Not on medication for cholesterol or diabetes
• Not pregnant and no haemophilia

We’re pleased to be joining Paul Waugh MP at the Kingsway Coffee Morning this Saturday 💬

👉 Living Well will be on hand to offer:
• FREE blood pressure checks
• Stop smoking support and aids
• Advice and support around diet and weight management

A great chance to pop in, have a cuppa, and get some friendly health support in your community 💜

Tomorrow I'll be hosting one of my regular coffee mornings, this time for Kingsway Ward residents at Moss Street Youth Centre 10.30am-12.30pm

At these events, it's a chance for residents to drop in and chat to me and my team, have a brew and also to meet with other local providers including Living Well, Citizens Advice and the Police.

Living Well Rochdale and Rochdale Borough Libraries Libraries are pleased to welcome you this Thursday 💜

Therapeutic Thursdays is held weekly from 12.30 -3pm at Rochdale Central Library. The group is open to anyone over the age of 18, and will be fun and creative as well as supporting loneliness, lifestyle changes including stop smoking and long term health conditions 💜

As part of our Trailblazer work, Living Well Rochdale are pleased to offer 2 weeks of Wellbeing Courses for residents of the Borough, who are over 18, and currently unemployed or have caring responsibilities.

The sessions are at Sandon House Wednesday 18th and Wednesday 25th February 1 – 3pm.
