This week is Children’s Mental Health Week- it gives us time to reflect, raise awareness, start important conversations, and highlight the importance of emotional wellbeing in children & young people’s lives as we remind every child that their thoughts and feelings matter.
Children’s mental health is just as important as their physical health because it shapes how they think, feel, learn, and build relationships. When children are supported emotionally, they develop confidence, resilience, and the ability to cope with challenges in healthy ways.
Promoting positive mental health from a young age can help prevent future difficulties and create a strong foundation for lifelong wellbeing.
For Children’s Mental Health Week, we are reminded that listening to children, valuing their feelings, and providing safe, supportive environments can make a lasting difference in their lives.
