📢 Anima is Coming to the NHS App – From 4th March!

We’re pleased to let our patients know that from 4th March, Anima will be available directly on the NHS App.

This means you will no longer need to visit the practice website to submit an Anima request. Instead, you can conveniently send your request through the NHS App on your phone or tablet.

✅ Submit medical or admin requests
✅ Access services in one place
✅ Save time – no need to search for our website

If you don’t already have the NHS App, you can download it from your app store.

Please note that Court View Surgery will be closed for staff training from 1pm on Tuesday 10th February and will re-open the following morning at 8am.
If you require urgent medical care (if you have symptoms that need immediate attention) during this time, please ring 111. If you need to make a routine appointment, request a repeat prescription, or if you are waiting for test results, please wait until the following morning when the practice re-opens.

💙 Practice Update 💙

Due to unexpected illness within our clinical team, we are currently experiencing a temporary shortage of clinical staff 🤧

Unfortunately, this means we may not have the capacity to see all patients safely at the practice. To ensure everyone receives safe and appropriate care 🩺, some patients may be signposted to alternative services.

We completely understand that this may be disappointing or frustrating, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause 🙏 Please know this decision is made with patient safety as our top priority.

🎄 Christmas Prescription Notice 🎄

To help us make sure everyone receives their medication in time for the festive period, please note that the last day to request prescriptions before Christmas will be Wednesday 17th December.

Requests made after this date may not be processed until after the Christmas holidays. We kindly ask patients to plan ahead and submit requests as early as possible.

🌟 Important COVID-19 Vaccination Update 🌟

We had quite a few patients visit our vaccination clinic on Saturday after receiving national messages saying they are eligible for the autumn COVID-19 vaccine. We know this has caused some confusion and frustration when, after a quick check, some were told they’re not eligible. 😕

Here’s the scoop:

🩺 Every year, the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) reviews who should get vaccinated to protect against serious illness. This year, their advice has changed because COVID-19 is now usually a milder infection for most people.

👵🧓 This autumn/winter, the COVID-19 vaccine is only being offered to those at highest risk — mainly older adults and people with weakened immune systems due to certain health conditions or treatments. This is different from previous years.

💉 You might be eligible for a flu vaccine but not for the COVID-19 vaccine this year, even if you’ve had it before.

When you come to our clinic, our team will check your eligibility and let you know if you can have the vaccine. ✅

🙏 We kindly ask all patients to please treat our staff at the vaccination clinics with respect and kindness. We understand it can be disappointing if you were expecting to be vaccinated for COVID-19, but our staff must follow the official guidance we’ve been given. Your patience and understanding really help us all!
