✨ Welcome to 2026 ✨
As we step into a new year, I want to gently invite you to pause and check in with your nervous system. Are you giving yourself the same care and attention that you so freely give to others?
In a world that constantly asks us to do more, many of our bodies are living in chronic fight-or-flight, even when we’re resting. Whether you’ve experienced Reiki with me before, or you’ve been quietly following and feeling drawn to this work, the beginning of 2026 is a powerful time to prioritise your health, balance and emotional wellbeing.
From a nervous-system perspective, Reiki supports deep relaxation and safety, helping activate the parasympathetic “rest and digest” response. This is the state where the body can regulate emotions, improve sleep, recover from burnout, and gently process stored stress. For many people, this can also support the softening and release of held experiences such as grief, trauma and long-term emotional tension, at a pace the body feels safe with. Over time, repeated experiences of deep relaxation teach the nervous system that it is safe to let go, reducing stress responses even outside of sessions.
If something in you knows it’s time to slow down, regulate, and feel more grounded in yourself, trust that signal. Because supporting your nervous system now, can change how you move through the whole year ahead.
