I would like to introduce you to the newest member of our team!

For those who don’t know we run workshops called ‘It’s YOUR Funeral’ where we talk about funeral options, what happens after you die, myth bust and answer lots of questions you throw at us! (Send me a message if you would like information!)

This new staff member will be taken along to these workshops and will live with me when he isn’t out socialising! - please don’t worry he won’t be sat at the back at services!!!

He needs a name!! What should we call him?!

You may have seen this lovely lady pop up on your social media. It’s Norma from Jess And Norma

I loved watching their videos! Norma was funny, sassy, a typical Nan always trying to slip Jess money!!

I had a wee cry when I read that she’d had left our world this week.

What a life she had! Millions of followers and loved my so many that had never even met her.

A funeral can be literally anything you want it to be!

You can keep your person at home, decorate their coffin, take them to the crematorium or burial ground in your own vehicle.

There are actually very few rules that must be stuck to !!!!

You don’t even need a funeral director! (Although advice and support from one is a good idea!)

Its that time of year again....If i have helped your family say goodbye, or hosted a workshop, and you would like to send in a nomination form the details are below.

You can nominate in lots of different categories from Funeral Directors to Crematoriums (and even The Old Chapel Etruria - Bespoke Funeral Venue - we WON last year!!) so if you have received great service, you can nominate them too.

So last week I had a bit of a change of ceremony……

Wendy and Dom have the most beautiful wedding venue near Knutsford…it’s called The Love Shack - Honestly it is MAGICAL! It’s nestled in the woods and there is just something so special about it.

They decided to surprise their mums with their vow renewal. They thought it was a photoshoot 😂😂

Thanks you guys for asking me to be part of your day! The sun was shining and it was just perfect!

When your work day's brightened by bumping into one of your favourite fellow celebrants at one of your favourite crems.

Smiley Kate and I never fail to bring the colour. Shame you can't see my bright orange shoes and Kate's gorgeous turquoise ones.

2 years ago I decided that Stoke on Trent needed an affordable, beautiful space for families to say goodbye to their loved ones.

So in the words of Simon Squibb

‘Don’t JUST dream.

Your business will evolve from actions not ideas.

Start small, Think big.

So with a plan, and some help from the bank of Dad, I opened a funeral venue! The Old Chapel Etruria - Bespoke Funeral Venue to be precise!!

The families we have served over the last two years have given us such amazing feedback. If I had a quid for every time someone said. ‘I want to come here when I die’ ……

I need your help spreading the word about my gorgeous chapel! Do me a favour, if you don’t already, go over and like or follow the chapels page and give it a share on your timeline.
