This moon represents a time to prepare your home for winter. And to ground yourself and reflect to find inner strength

Todays little Herb make.
Wanting to get some herbs in your life this warming Rosemary infused Extra Virgin Olive oil.
I will leave this to steep for a few weeks before straining into a bottle to use as salad dressing or drizzled over warming Winter Soups and Stews and it’s perfect over Pasta..
Rosemary is a warming herb and represents Remembrance.
Its benefits skin and hair health can aid indigestion, it’s a great immune booster too.
And I made a little Rosemary wreath to dry the rest of what was picked.. 💚🌿

Giving Medlar Jelly a go this weekend. Medlar are Bletted and ready to be made into delicious (I hope) Jelly. Well known for not setting but let’s try it out.

Did you know Medlar are beneficial to your health. Full of Vitamin C and Antioxidants a great source of fibre. Not the most attractive fruit and has a long history. It must be Bletted before it is edible which means they are slightly rotting. Due to this they were often associated with ageing. Now known as Medlar for 800 years or more had various names including Open arse.
