If I could only have one supplement for the rest of my life, it would 100% be magnesium.

Everyone thinks of it as the “relaxation mineral” great for stress and sleep, but honestly, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Magnesium also helps to:

You can eat clean, train hard, and hit every macro,
but if alcohol is still a regular drink in your week, your body’s not in fat burning mode.

When you drink, your liver has one priority, clear the alcohol.
That means it pauses everything else, fat burning, hormone balance, detox pathways… all on hold while it cleans up the mess.

So if you’re wondering why progress feels slower after “just a few glasses,” that’s your answer. It’s not that your plan isn’t working, it’s that your body’s busy doing damage control.

The Hidden Factor Sabotaging Your Sleep & Metabolism

Did you know that light at night can disrupt your hormones, raise cortisol, and even increase diabetes risk?

Research on over 85,000 people showed that the brighter your bedroom at night, the higher your risk of metabolic issues, even after accounting for diet and exercise.

Here’s why:

Blue light (from phones, TVs, LEDs) blocks melatonin, your sleep hormone.

It’s not about doing one big effort every now and then.
It’s about the consistent work you put in behind the scenes that actually makes you better.

Training once a week while eating whatever you like won’t get you where you want to be.
One riding lesson a week, without putting in the extra work on balance, strength, and mobility, won’t make you the rider you dream of being.

Progress comes from consistency. The daily habits. The unglamorous reps. The boring bits that build up into results.

Because nothing worth it comes easy, but everything worth it is possible when you stay consistent.

You can still make progress even when your body feels like it’s working against you.

Degenerative disc disease.
Hypermobility.
Osteoarthritis.
Perimenopause.
PCOS.
ADHD.
IBS.

I live with all of them and some days it’s tough.

But here’s what I’ve learned:
You don’t have to be symptom free to get stronger.
You don’t have to be pain free to feel better.
You don’t have to be perfect to make progress.
