At Romsey Medical Practice, we believe that taking time at the beginning of any consultation matters.

GP appointments are typically scheduled for 20 or 30 minutes to allow space for proper assessment, discussion, and clinical decision-making. Cosmetic consultations are longer, usually around 45 minutes, to ensure suitability is assessed carefully and expectations are discussed in detail. A cooling-off period is then usually recommended before proceeding with treatment.

Rushing into treatment can lead to unnecessary interventions, unrealistic expectations, or important information being missed. A measured approach allows time to understand what is really needed and whether treatment is appropriate at all.

Taking time early on supports safer care, better outcomes, and greater confidence in decisions over the long term.

A new year often brings space to pause, reset, and think more intentionally about health, wellbeing, and how we want to feel moving forward.

2025 has been a year of excitement and change at Romsey Medical Practice. We have introduced new members of staff, our long-awaited Memberships, and updated treatment packages!

We are ready to continue this growth into 2026, when we will be expanding our premises into next door where can’t wait me meet even more patients and offer new services.
