A.H. Cheater Funeral Directors opened their branch in North Baddesley in 2017 which operates alongside their main office in Romsey, which has been established since 1966.

Working from our North Baddesley branch, Gavin Taylor and Sophie Andrews are proud to provide a personal service to families in the local community and surrounding areas. Our branch is designed to provide a calm and welcoming environment for the families we serve. Facilities include a peaceful arrangement room, a private Chapel of Rest for quiet moments of reflection, on-site mortuary facilities and convenient parking for our clients.

Whether you need guidance, support, or simply want to know what we offer, Gavin and Sophie are always here to help with warmth, respect and understanding.

Staff spotlight : Meet Gavin ⭐️

Hi, I’m Gavin Taylor. I’ve worked in the funeral profession for many years, and during that time I’ve had the privilege of meeting many wonderful families. This job role has taught me how important compassion, understanding and kindness truly are.

Outside of work I’m a family man through and through. I’m married and have children who keep life busy, fun and full of laughter. I’m a little bit of a thrill seeker enjoying days out at theme parks. Originally from Haywards Heath, my family moved to Eastleigh when i was younger and I have stayed local ever since. My guilty pleasure is Disney, having two Disney Lego castles at home in my living room.. and having visited Disneyland multiple times, I still get very excited each time! I have also watched every Disney movie ever released 🫣

I’m proud to be part of the team here at A.H. Cheater Funeral Directors, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to support families when they need it most.
