Aeon Reflexology

Aeon Reflexology Women's Reflexologist & Reiki Master Teacher. Family Health & Wellbeing Enthusiast. Reflexology Lymph Drainage Practitioner. Welcome to Aeon Reflexology!

My name is Harriet, I am a professional reflexologist and reflexology lymph drainage practitioner. I started Aeon Reflexology after seeing many clients with similar health concerns - stress, anxiety, hormonal imbalances, PMS, perimenopausal & menopausal symptoms, the list goes on. Reflexology can be very effective at regulating hormones and glands, activating the parasympathetic nervous system, re

ducing stress, anxieties, and pain, as well as reenergising and revitalising the mind & body. Aeon means 'life', 'vital force' & 'being' all of which are at the core of my aim, helping you to achieve optimum wellbeing, both physically & emotionally. I believe in treating the whole person, mind, body & soul, not just the symptoms in which a condition might manifest itself. Aeon reflexology is all about helping to restore balance, strength and vitality to your everyday life. This deeply relaxing and therapeutic treatment manipulates the nervous system, to help reduce stress and anxiety, allowing your body to achieve a natural equilibrium. And you’re more likely to have a good night’s sleep, too! About Reflexology
By applying pressure to specific points on the feet (called reflexes), I can detect subtle imbalances, release blockages and restore the flow of energy within your body. The theory is that each organ and structure within the body is linked to the feet by energy channels or meridians, and the feet are like mirror images of the body. By applying pressure to these reflex points via specific techniques and movements, I can bring about a positive effect in the corresponding part of the body, encouraging it to restore balance and for energy to flow more freely. There are approximately 7,000 nerve endings in each of your feet, and when stimulated, release a surge of endorphins (feel good hormones) that activate our parasympathetic nervous system, putting us in a deep state of relaxation. Once the body is relaxed it can start to repair and renew itself. Reflexology is cumulative, so to get the best results I recommend you initially have 4 treatments in quick succession, followed by once every 4/6 weeks depending on your needs.

Thyme Tea - it tastes delicious!

Feeling tight-chested, stuck in a coughing loop, or battling a buildup of phlegm?

🌿Meet thyme (Thymus vulgaris) a small herb with big, time-honored benefits!

Traditionally used in herbal remedies, thyme is known for supporting happy, comfortable breathing with its impressive range of properties:

* Expectorant: Encourages the body to clear out mucus and phlegm, helping you breathe easier.
* Mucolytic: Thins stubborn mucus so it’s easier to cough up and move along.
* Antitussive: Helps calm and soothe persistent coughing.
* Antispasmodic: Relaxes smooth muscle spasms, which can bring relief to irritated airways (and even digestive discomfort).

And there’s science to back up the tradition! ✨ A study found that a standardized thyme extract helped reduce inflammation markers in human bronchial and tracheal epithelial cells (PubMed reference: 27369807).

Thyme Tea might just be the breath of fresh air your lungs have been waiting for 🌱
