Acknowledgement Notice for the late HARRY MORGAN.
We the daughters of Harry Morgan, Carol, Órla, Aísling, Emma-Jane, Clíona and Néidin would like to express our sincerest and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised and supported us through our recent sad loss of our loving daddy, father in law, grandfather, brother, brother in law and uncle.
We thank all those who called to the house to attend the wake and funeral, sent mass and sympathy cards and messages, brought food and donated to Alzheimer's UK. We would also like to acknowledge and thank daddy's family circle and friends, especially all of his in-laws and Bernie and Lily, we are forever grateful for all your support.
Our sincerest thanks go to all the staff of Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home for their kindness and compassion shown to daddy, and to the wonderful carers who looked after him at home with such compassion and warmth.
To Monsignor Connolly, thanks so much for your guidance and support at such a difficult time and for the wonderful service for daddy. A special word of thanks to Rós, Siobhán, Eibhlis, the Cór Na Nóg Childrens Choir, Val, Matthew and Alfie for the beautiful music and singing that made daddy’s mass so very special.
A sincerest thank you also to St Bronagh’s GAA for both the guard of honour as well as the use of its services and facilities, the food provided after the funeral by Lily assisted by her helpers was also very much appreciated.
To Patsy Curran Funeral Directors, our deepest thanks for the professionalism and care provided to daddy and the family during this most difficult time, your empathy and compassion will never be forgotten.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep thanks.
Daddy’s Months Mind will be celebrated on Sunday 12th April 2026 at 11.30am in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Rostrevor.
