Acknowledgement Notice for the late HARRY MORGAN.

We the daughters of Harry Morgan, Carol, Órla, Aísling, Emma-Jane, Clíona and Néidin would like to express our sincerest and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised and supported us through our recent sad loss of our loving daddy, father in law, grandfather, brother, brother in law and uncle.

We thank all those who called to the house to attend the wake and funeral, sent mass and sympathy cards and messages, brought food and donated to Alzheimer's UK. We would also like to acknowledge and thank daddy's family circle and friends, especially all of his in-laws and Bernie and Lily, we are forever grateful for all your support.

Our sincerest thanks go to all the staff of Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home for their kindness and compassion shown to daddy, and to the wonderful carers who looked after him at home with such compassion and warmth.

To Monsignor Connolly, thanks so much for your guidance and support at such a difficult time and for the wonderful service for daddy. A special word of thanks to Rós, Siobhán, Eibhlis, the Cór Na Nóg Childrens Choir, Val, Matthew and Alfie for the beautiful music and singing that made daddy’s mass so very special.

A sincerest thank you also to St Bronagh’s GAA for both the guard of honour as well as the use of its services and facilities, the food provided after the funeral by Lily assisted by her helpers was also very much appreciated.

To Patsy Curran Funeral Directors, our deepest thanks for the professionalism and care provided to daddy and the family during this most difficult time, your empathy and compassion will never be forgotten.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep thanks.

Daddy’s Months Mind will be celebrated on Sunday 12th April 2026 at 11.30am in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Rostrevor.

HARRY died on March 4th 2026, suddenly in Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Marie, R.I.P., and loving father of daughters Carol (Dave R.I.P), Órla (Dave), Aísling (John), Emma-Jane (Dermot), Clíona (Chloe) and Néidín.
Loving brother of Val, Ann, Sheila, Veronica, Damien and Kieran and the late Kevin, Geraldine, Brona and Eamon RIP.

Loving granda of Ethan, Dylan, Óisin, Finn, Caoímhe, Saorlaith, Saoirse, Fiadh, Caireann, Neasa and Shea.
Deeply regretted by his brothers in law and sisters in law.
Harry's remains will be residing at his home on Thursday 5th & Friday 6th March from 2pm - 9pm and removal from his home on Saturday 7th March at 11.30am for 12 noon requiem mass in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Rostrevor. We the family of the late Mary Mackin (RIP) would like to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved mother. We deeply appreciate those who attended Mary’s wake and funeral. To those who sent mass cards letters and messages these have been a great support during such a difficult time. To those who brought food and refreshments to the house we are truly so thankful for your kindness.
Special thanks to FR Des Mooney for celebrating the funeral mass and all those who participated in the funeral service. A special word of thanks to Rebecca Mackin for the beautiful singing and music that made the ceremony so special.
Our appreciation goes to the medical staff at Daisy Hill Hospital Renal unit along with Dr Gallan and the Doctors and staff at Summer Hill Surgery Warrenpoint District nurses carers life and times for their dedicated care during Mary’s illness. A special thanks to Mary’s neighbour Dr Bonner..

Devoted mother of Deirdre, Caroline, David, Paul, Linda and the late Stephen RIP.

Mary’s remains will be reposing at her home today Saturday and tomorrow Sunday and Monday from 2.00pm until 9.00pm each day.
Removal on Tuesday 1st April for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church Rostrevor.
Interment afterwards in Kilbroney Cemetery, Rostrevor. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her soul.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NOTICE FOR KATHLEEN CLARKE

We the family of the late Kathleen Clarke (RIP) would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who kindly expressed their sympathies to us during our sad time of loss. To those who brought food and refreshments to the house we are truly so thankful for your kindness.
Special thanks to Canon Frank Kearney for celebrating the funeral mass and to Monsignor John Clarke, Canon John Kearney and Canon Hackett for concelebrating and all those who participated in the funeral service. A special word of thanks to Rós, Siubhán, Eibhlis and the senior choir for the beautiful singing and music which Kathleen herself was a member and loved so much and would have been so proud.
We would like to acknowledge and thank Kathleen’s carers who treated her with such kindness and dignity which then enabled her to remain in the comfort of her own home. Also a word of thanks to the staff of the Medical Dept in Daisy Hill Hospital and to those in St Joseph’s Nursing Home who cared for Kathleen with compassion and professionalism in the last couple of weeks of her life.
