!!!𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗛𝗔𝗠 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘!!!
It’s one year since we started the COVID vaccination programme in Rotherham and thanks to the fantastic efforts and dedication of our staff, volunteers and residents we have managed to deliver 480,000 vaccinations (1st, 2nd and booster).
But, it doesn’t stop there!!
We have been working extremely hard over the last few days to significantly increase the availability of booster vaccines for Rotherham residents at our local vaccinations in line with national requirements. From Thursday (16th December), we will be vaccinating 7 days a week, 12 hours a day at the following sites, until the end of December 2021 (with a break for Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Vaccinations at these sites will be mainly through booked appointments (see below), however where capacity is available we will open up our sites to allow walk in vaccination without appointment.
In Rotherham, booster vaccines are currently available for those 30 years old and over who are at least 91 days since their 2nd dose of the vaccine.

If you have already received a 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟 NHS text message from GPSurgery please book your vaccine as soon as possible at one of our Rotherham sites. We have appointments available for you.
Please be aware that our booking lines are extremely busy at the moment, due to high demand. Please be patient, we are working hard to ensure everyone who is eligible for the COVID booster vaccine receives it in a timely manner, prioritising our most vulnerable residents who are most at risk from COVID-19.
We will be providing regular daily updates (8am, 12 noon and 4pm) on our vaccination sites and vaccine availability for residents. We will also continue to provide updates on our regular walk-in sessions for vaccinations.
