Embrace the Season Change …
and Save Space!

It’s the PERFECT time to say “Adios! 👋🏼”
to the winter cosies and heavy outerwear and to grab some of that space back
in your wardrobe and dressing rooms.

From thick coats to Christmas jumpers
Thermal leggings and lined slippers
Body warmers and woolly cardies…

Tackling Clutter and Chaos:
The ‘5 Sweeps Process’ -

Follow these simple steps to declutter and organise your most vexing space into a calm oasis.

🧹 Sweep 1: Remove any rubbish, packaging, empty boxes and bin-able or recyclable items. Get rid.
Easy win / immediate impact 💫.

🧹 Sweep 2: Remove anything that belongs in another room or to someone else.
Re-home immediately.

🧹 Sweep 3: Collect everything you’re willing to let go of easily:
Clothes that don’t fit, old coats which have now been replaced, toys that no longer get played with, out of date technology …
Where you can, recycle, take to charity, sell or donate.

🧹 Sweep 4: Go through what’s left asking yourself these questions:
❓‘If it wasn’t here, would I miss it?’
❓‘What’s more valuable to me now: the item, or the space it takes up?’
❓‘Am I going to use it or wear it in the future?’
Let the answers guide your decisions.
As above, relocate what doesn’t deserve space in that room’s future. Every item you remove will feel like a weight lifted.

🧹 Sweep 5: start to organise -
group like items together, most frequently used with easiest access, maximising the storage available.

Managing Migraines Morning Routine.

Caveat:
I’m not medically trained. I’ve suffered debilitating migraines for over 30 years and tried every treatment in the book.

Research shows that an imbalance of electrolytes contributes to and/or exacerbates migraines.

Celtic Salt, at least once a day, dissolved under your tongue, redresses that imbalance.
Hydrating before caffeinating seems to be beneficial too.

I don’t benefit in any way from this post.
I’m just grateful I was told about Celtic salt and hope others find relief by using it too.

For a cluttered and busy space to be effectively improved, follow these simple steps:

🪄 remove every item and assess whether you want them your present and your future?
🪄 if yes, where should they live, so they can be found quickly and easily and returned every time?

🪄 if no, where is the best place for them: recycling, a charity shop, sold, passed on, binned?

🪄 categorise and organise everything that’s staying so it makes sense in a system that works.

Eg: Most used items are most accessible // least used can be furthest from reach.

In a bathroom cabinet you might want to arrange products from those used in the morning on the left through to those used at night on the right.
Genius, eh?!
